About the artist

Jonelle Summerfield is an oil painter from Indiana, PA. She received a degree in Interior Design from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her mother, Jolene Joyner, became her first and most influential art teacher. Later, she added to her skills by taking workshops with other prominent artists she admired. While she worked as a kitchen designer, she honed her skills, taking workshops with artists she admired. She currently works as a full time artist and occasionally takes on freelance kitchen design projects. Jonelle sells her work through online art galleries and has exhibited in Pittsburgh, PA; Indiana, PA, Ligonier, PA; and New York, NY. Her paintings are inspired by her travels near and far, her hobbies, domestic scenes, and her cats. The goal of her work is to depict the good things in life to provide relief from a chaotic world.
