Surprise Painting Class

Surprise Painting Class
We will allow the universe to determine whether we have a still life or an outdoor plein air class. I will announce the location on Thursday, September 18th. If the weather is forecasted to be sunny and warm, we will paint at Blue Spruce or Yellow Creek State Park. If it is cool, cloudy, or otherwise unpleasant, we will paint in my studio. The studio subject matter will consist of seasonal flowers, foods, and coffee cups.
Date: Sunday, September 21
Time: 2-5pm
Location: Studio: Indiana Theater Building, 637 Philadelphia Street, 3rd floor, Studio 308
Cost: $50
Items that will be provided: 9” x 12” canvas, props, table & chairs, tabletop easels, gloves, and aprons.
Material list: (I encourage you to invest in quality paint such as Rembrandt or Gamblin to avoid frustration!) I also encourage good quality, sharp brushes. Frayed, overly stiff or overly limp, worn brushes will not produce a good result. Acrylic and watercolor paint are also prohibited because they require a different technique.
