March 3rd Workshop

March 3rd Workshop

$55.00

Class is from 1 pm - 5 pm on Sunday, March 3rd. Indiana, PA Theater Building (637 Philadelphia Street) 3rd floor, Room 308.

We will set up a still life in-studio using props that the instructor provides. We will set up simple yet powerful still lifes with the goal of completing the painting that day. The purpose of class is to refine the elements of art production including composition, drawing, reference material, setting up still lifes, and applying paint. We will be painting on canvas paper, which will be provided.

Purchasing this one-time-fee buys one class.

Items that will be provided: Canvas paper, props, table & chairs, tabletop easels, gloves, and aprons.

Material list: (I encourage you to invest in quality paint such as Rembrandt or Gamblin to avoid frustration!) I also encourage good quality, sharp brushes. Frayed, overly stiff or overly limp, worn brushes will not produce a good result. Acrylic and watercolor paint are also prohibited because they require a different technique.
